Interview a Blogger: Part Four - Danielle

Welcome to the final part of my Interview a Blogger series! This week I'm featuring Danielle from

Hi! Introduce yourself and your blog!
Hi! I'm Danielle, the blogger behind student2staffnurse. I have been blogging for the past two years and I feature everything from university and nursing to beauty, fashion and fitness.

How did you get into blogging?
I started blogging at the end of my first year of my nursing degree as I couldn't really find any blogs about student nurses, the only ones I could find were ones that hadn't been written in the past 5 years, were US bloggers and were focused solely on nursing. When I started my blog I wanted it to be a place that student nurses could come with questions but also somewhere they could come to take some time out of our incredibly hectic schedules.

How do you want to improve within the next year?
Within the next year I'd love to be able to improve my blog and youtube channel and hopefully increase the number of lovely people that interact with both!

What has been your proudest blogging moment?
My proudest blogging moment so far was definitely being featured in the Liverpool Echo's article about the best bloggers and vloggers in Merseyside. I had absolutely no idea I was going to be included and it was such a lovely surprise! My second proudest moment was hosting my first twitter chat.

Who has most impacted you in blogging and how?
It might be cheesy but I feel like the biggest impact on my blogging journey has been the friends I've made along the way. I have made so many amazing friends who have helped and supported me along my blogging journey as well as being absolutely babes!! I love them all!

What motivates you to keep blogging?
My blog is a hobby and something I truly love working on as well as improving my photography and writing......and that is what motivates me to blog. Sometimes it honestly kills me when time gets away from me (particularly on placement) and I don't have the time to sit and write.

What is the biggest difference in your life post-blogging?
The biggest impact on my life since I started blogging is definitely the friends I've made and the people I've met!

What do you do in your spare time?
I tend to spend any spare time when I'm not in placement, blogging or making youtube videos, I tend to spend it with my family eating dinner (it legit the only meal I eat at home at the moment), catching up with each other and watching some TV/movies together.

What would you say is the greatest satisfaction of being a blogger?
My greatest satisfaction is meeting some amazing people and attending some truly amazing events!

Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?
In 5 years I hope to be in my own apartment (that could be totally blog photo/instagram/youtube video worthy) happy in my staff nurse post and to hopefully have reached some many more amazing people throughout the world. I would also love to run into someone that I don't know that reads my blog/watches my youtube videos.

Thank you so much to Danielle for taking part this week. Make sure you follow her on Twitter at @stdnt2staffnurs This is the fourth in this series, which I’ll be posting every Wednesday! Next week I'm featuring the lovely Erin from The Rosha Beauty!
