2016 Goals: How Have I Done?

Adulthood is a Myth by Sarah Anderson, on a white wooden background, covered in copper fairylights

As part of my '12 Days of Christmas' posts, I wanted to start with a final review of my 2016 Goals!

Pay off at least one of my debts

When I last checked in, I had made the grand gesture of cutting up my credit card, and I'm really pleased that I've stuck to not using it. Although I've not managed to physically pay a full debt off, I've made huge steps towards being better with money. I'm sticking to a budget (fairly successfully) and managing not to dig myself into a deeper hole.

Cook more

I'm not exactly Guy Fieri, but I'm still working on this too. I take charge in the kitchen a lot more than I used to and don't just eat Cheerios when Dave's away for the weekend. One of my proudest moments was making a super easy Pulled Pork in my slow cooker!

Be more organised

I've been using my giant wipe-off calendar, and successfully managed to keep on top of most of my appointments. I have a fresh Erin Condren Life Planner to use for 2017 and I can't wait to break that out!

Take care of myself

Arguably the most important of the four, I've managed to completely turn it around by the end of 2016. I finally had the surgery to take out the fucking ovarian cyst, I've lost almost two stone, and I started CBT to work on my anxiety and eating disorder. It's obviously going to be a really long process, but I'm so proud of myself for the steps I've taken towards getting better!

How have you done with your 2016 goals? Did you stick to your resolutions?
